Potjar is an offline bill splitter. We collect no data and share no data. Potjar has no account, analytics, advertising, developer server, or internet permission.
Group names, member names, optional UPI IDs or PayPal.me handles, expenses, notes, dates, split details, and settlements are stored locally on your device. An onboarding preference is also stored locally. Android automatic app backup is disabled.
You may export CSV, save a JSON backup to a destination you choose, restore a backup, or share a text summary or image card. These files and summaries can include personal and financial details. A chosen file provider may be a cloud service. Recipients and destination apps handle information under their own policies. Potjar only grants temporary access to shared image files.
If you open a UPI or PayPal link, the receiving app or website handles the payment details under its own policy. Potjar does not process payments or verify payment completion.
You can edit or delete expenses and settlements in the app. Clear Potjar's app storage in Android settings or uninstall it to remove its local records. Separately delete exported files, backups, and copies shared elsewhere; clearing app storage does not delete those copies. Back up records you want to keep before clearing storage or uninstalling.
Potjar does not collect information from anyone, including children. If future versions change data handling, this policy and store declarations will be updated before that behavior is released.
